The Music Video For 'Ma Cherie' Is Full Of Surprise Special Effects That Really Make You Wonder
DJ Antoine (featuring The Beat Shakers) has just released the music video for "Ma Cherie", a track from his latest album Welcome To DJ Antoine.
The clip begins at nightfall in Paris where a well-dressed young man goes into a store and buys a bottle of Skyy vodka. He looks at his watch, and a message on the screen states that a party starts at 8:30pm. The beat of the track begins. Male dancers are then shown as they perform their moves with absolute precision, twisting and gyrating brilliantly. Next scene shows the young man in the company of fellow party goers enjoying a glass of vodka. They finish their drinks, and he then "spins the bottle" - just like that old party game. Everyone is excited when the bottle points to the gorgeous young blonde sitting opposite; he stands up and just as he is about to take her hand, everything stops still, except him. Puzzled at what is happening, he looks around, a message about "his and her compatibility" appears, and the bottle un-spins returning everything to how it WAS a few moments ago.
The events are repeated with another bottle of Skyy vodka at a different party. Unfortunately, again there is no compatibility. This series of events is repeated a number of times ... a real "Groundhog Day" if you like!
In the end, just like the famous movie, things work out and he finds his sweetheart (his "Ma Cherie").
The music video is brilliant to watch. The special effects are spectacular. How do they do it?
The tune "Ma Cherie" is the next sure-fire party dance anthem. The beat and rhythm are infectious. It's a great track matched to an impressive video.
